THE MODERN DR. CLINIC

The Modern Dr. clinic began with the unique concept to bring together the best of advanced modern medical techniques and age-old alternative therapies for the management of health, wellness and beauty.

 

Husband and wife Dr. Adeel Munshi, a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor, and Dr. Fatima Vindhani, a Medical Doctor worked together to establish a holistic centre designed to help women achieve balance from within.

To create this small and compact space, designed to unite three different brands into a unique, modern and visually cohesive clinic, we utilised glass panels, colour blocking and transparency, to play with light and saturation levels of the brand colours, creating a connectedness between therapy rooms. This effectively mirrors the patient’s internal journey within this unique space.

 

Evoking an initial sense of calm and comfort for the clients at the entry point was a vital part of our design.

As you move through the space, each room reveals its own unique identity. In contrast to these visual colour cues, the repetition of dado lines and subtle colour changes throughout the circulation space, work to connect the individual rooms and provide a sense of familiarity.

 

The design cleverly aligns doorway openings, glass panels, mirroring and viewpoints to expand the spatial perception and play on the visual depth of the rooms. This visual flow allows for an individualised user experience as the visibility and shadows change depending on the level of activation within the clinic.
